How can it be goodbye...

When one leaves

and one stays behind

if one heart remains,

is it really goodbye?

Spinning around

this revolving door,

forgotten by souls

who have been here before;

grasping at shadows,

straining at sighs ~

if my heart remains,

In answer to your question it came from the heart. And it came out beautifuly.
I remember when my grandfather died the Priest saying at his funeral, that in additon to eternal life there is the perseverence of memory. As long as someone is remembered in even one heart the person is not truely dead.
You got me with this one.
