I should be doing work

I really should be grading papers

marking tests

or typing plans

Instead I'm at my laptop,

procrastination guides my hands

At this point in the year,

they're done;

I guess that I am too

Our only consolation is

that summer's coming soon!

Thank you - that's quite a compliment to educators! At times, yes, unappreciated - but when we ARE appreciated, a students lets us know, and it's worth it! This time of year, though, the minds of students and teachers alike are wandering...
