I like this portrait of the univere you give us. One of the things I like to do, is to project my imagination off of the earth, out of the solar system, away from the galaxy, ––– then finally, out of the universe... In my imagination it is always the same... I find myself back on Another earth, and the cycle begins again.
I love the moon mostly. Ive come to believe that we are not meant to understand the creation, but to discover and nuture it, and marvel at it with a loving curiosity which your write captured so well.

Lovely write of Rita, so magical, mystical and jaw-dropping the size of it all...and here we are just floating amongst it as a speck of dust.(and smaller still) and You have captured that brilliantly!!!

i have always been fascinated with the origin and the many diversities of this universe. i found out recently that , in the scheme of things, we are way out in the sticks on a back road in this vast and incredible thing we call our galaxy and even more remote in the universe. it seems, if there is in fact life out there (and i have no doubt there is) it would be a one in many billion chance of them ever finding us. thank goodness for that, as we are so very primitive and barbaric. this is a beautiful and awe inspiring write, dear Rita, and gave me much pause for deep thought. thank you for this request!

well, you certainly gave me pause for reflection...and some deep thought of my own!
You have painted a picture for me here. I am always wondering about our place and how we came to be. You create with that huge box of crayolas. I am doodling along, making the best pictures I can with my 24 pack.

You're really a teacher, Rita. You integrate Science subject with Literature. :)
