They’ve gifted love and laughter,

found the humor

The years have brought my share of loss

and figured

friend from foe

 

And taught the delicate balance

of holding on

and letting go

Happy Birthday, dear one...to me 45 is a young girl. My youngest kid is 33. The oldest is 43. They were born exactly ten years apart to the day.

If only we could all learn such valuable lessons Rita, Im sure this world of ours would be a much better place to live in.
This is a tremendous reflective piece and I'd actually like it as an Epitaph because I haven't a scooby-doo when it comes to knowing when to let go or hold on (he said grippin on for grim death).
