Wednesday at the DinerA Poem by Rita L. SevLet's go out tonight...“It’s
been a long half-week, my dear, Let’s
get a hump-day treat.” So
we headed to the diner To
get a bite to eat.
We
talked and ate and laughed with ease Sharing
‘My day was…’ narration And
laughed together when a guy outside Practiced
nasal excavation
And
as we savored diner pie, Cherry
crumb and banana cream, I
thought about how simple it is To
realize Life’s supreme.
