Death WatchA Poem by Rita L. SevTime to say goodbye
I believe a formidable relative
Is about to leave us, oh dear! I suppose that I should reflect on The time she's been with us here. I didn't always know her, I met her as a young teen. Whenever she'd come for a visit, Boy, did she make a scene! She really caused a headache And made a nasty mess No matter how things were going, She'd add her own brand of stress I don't think anyone liked her Our lives were not enriched In fact, when I knew she was coming, I'd warn, "Here comes that b***h." We really will not miss her When it's her time to go My parting words may seem cruel - "Good riddance, Old Aunt Flo!"
