My Daddy's Little GirlA Poem by Rita L. SevWritten as a gift for my Dad, a long time ago. . .
I have my Daddy's eyes
I've learned the world through these family and friends and books and dogs and horses, and bears, and trees I have my Daddy's nose and though it's a little long, I look in the mirror and there's no doubt - I know where I belong I have my Daddy's hands like his they have some quirks - loving and gentle, caring and strong and not afraid to work I have Dad's sense of humor we laugh at the same jokes funny and zany and wacky - just silly to other folks I am a lot like Daddy sharing many of his parts but most of all, what I like best is that I have his heart
