Rita L. Sev,
At first I thought this was about Washington DC (shows how much I know!) You have brought me a desire to visit your fine city. It is portrayed in such a happy lighthearted way. Happy reading for sure! Blessings, Kathy
Hi, Rita! : )
Had to take a look-see at your first post; next, comparing what improvement and influence the site might have had on your latest … as a teacher of poetry, I enjoy taking this time and interest when reading a poet/poetess new to me.
Whenever one has enough pride in their city to pay homage to it in such a charming and enjoyable way, it is your readers and fans who reap the rewards … thank you for the everyday visuals of life there.
I very much enjoy your verses' jaunt and flow, skipping along in lively energy, rhyme, and beat … until L10, which is simply too long.
In an effort to help correct this, consider the following (or some-such):
Cobblestones 'neath feet,
William Penn above
Come to Philadelphia —
City of Brotherly Love!
Without proper punctuation, the lines tend to enjamb and rush. For presentation and eye/mind appeal, dividing the Quatrains into poetic verses will allow the reader to relax and breath, taking-in and appreciating the value each offers; also, I'm not a fan of unnecessarily capping every line.
Having said all that, I love this piece … you've made me want to visit "Philly" for all the sites and one of the famous "hoagies". : D
Thank you, Dear Poetess, for the pleasure and honor of allowing an honest review! ⁓ Richard
on my way ..who can resist the tasteful delights of the famous Philly Hoagie? :)

Philadelphia must be an awesome place. I am from the Philippines and I had to google every spot you've mentioned on your poem:D And they are all gorgeous! You have brought me to your beautiful place with such economy of words and that is an awesome skill:)

We have just as much style and personality as Philly, probably more, and a ton more class. Simply put, my grandmother has had ice cream thrown at her at a baseball game in Philly rooting for a NY team; not a thing was thrown when at a Yankees-Red Sox game wearing a Red Sox hat. Just saying...

And I must apologize for the unfortunate ardor of our sports fans - that kind of behavior is not uncommon, and it is one of the most frustrating things about this city.
