Squeaky Clean

Squeaky Clean

A Poem by Rita

Bathing in your glory,
but of course you had won,
Strutting around gleefully,
for your treacherous deed was done.

Remaining inconspicuous,
Behind your pleasant mask,
Claiming sweet victory,
For completing such a task.

A mystery it remains,
Whether you trembled or not,
As you approached the innocent soul,
and followed your evil plot.

Are you a real villain?
Or a coward in disguise.
Are you a pitiful being?
Or a demon to despise.

This is a remarkable poem with increble rhyme and beautiful flow. The title is perfect. The final lines:

Are you a real villain?
Or a coward in disguise.
Are you a pitiful being?
Or a demon to despise.

Close this poem so well. Really well done!
