Grandma's House

Grandma's House

A Poem by Ashley Robel

Grandma's house.

The place has always been home to me.

Grandma's house,

So clearly etched in my memory.

The warm smells of dinner, the laughter of family.

All just a flicker of flame in my mind.

Grandma's house,

Garden so fresh, all her beautiful flowers.

The sights, the smells, the sounds,

So far from me,

So I will dream of laughter, of fun...

Of Grandma's house.
