Fighting the Good Fight

A poem I wrote at work on Tuesday based on the story of my roleplaying character (Cyndra Blackwing) and her partner.

Darkness constantly looms above our heads,

Sometimes so suffocating, it fills us with dread.

But, ever warriors, we're fighting for the good,

Following in the footsteps where our teachers once stood.

On and on this battle shall go,

Leaving most of the world never to know

What dangers we have always faced,

And that is where we have found our place.

ooh... i like! i kind of want this to be an epic novel or something... maybe a movie? there is so much in such a short piece... which is so hard to accomplish! great job!
