Richard's Laugh...

Richard's Laugh...

A Poem by Ashley Robel
"

Another beauty for challenge # 11. I was kind of surprised that this wasn't the first play that I wrote about...But I knew it would come, seeing as it's another one of my favorites. This is about Richard III's lie to Lady Anne.

"

Ah, what great lies I have told.

On one of love hast this lady been sold.

Think she that her beauty hath infected me,

Made me commit such a terrible deed.

Truth be told, my wish is to be king.

Naught shall get in my way, the crown shall I win.
