A Mother's Love

A Mother's Love

A Poem by Ashley Robel

A mother holds her daughter at night,

Assures her it will be all right.

A gentle song lulls her to sleep.

No longer does this angel weep.

A soft kiss to a small girl's head,

As mother tucks her into bed.

A mother's love, so pure and true,

Like an angel, she'll watch over you.
