Waste of breathe

Waste of breathe

A Poem by Reason4Rissa

I stay honest
I have no reason to let lies rest on my conscience.
Blame the burden
If people listened instead of being certain
They might see the best person
But they listen to the crowd
Never knowing what's behind the curtain
Your side isn't heard,
Your words are plowed
Proving your innocent won't be allowed.
