 Ashley              Chapter Seven

I woke up to voices and cries filling my ears. I bolted upright, my body being stopped by a wall but my head bashing into it. I cried out in pain, the noise stopping, ringing replacing it. But all the noise had stopped at once.

F**k… please don't tell me I fell asleep in class again…

"Ashley?" I heard my brother say. Son of a b***h, please tell me I did fall asleep in class again.

I moved my hands to rub where my head had collided  with the wall. "What the f**k…" I trailed off pulling on the chains.

"Ash it's no use," Someone said beside me. I looked at her, my eyes adjusting to the dim light. "Maddy?"

"Yeah and Brook, Bria, Snow, and Zoe." She nodded into the dim light. Ugh… Great..

"Hey!" A boy shouted, the ringing in my ears coming back. I grit my teeth at the pain. I think the boy was Sam. "There's boys here too!" He huffed.

"There's Ryan, Justin, Elias, and me." Sam said. Ryan… S**t, I already forgot.

"Is that all?" I asked, looking around the room.

"Well.. All we know of," Brook said.

Someone cleared their throat, demanding our attention. "And Liam." He said. "Mason and I." He hesitated before starting again. "I as in Liam." Oh great. Just mother f*****g great.

I groaned louder than probably appropriate and I heard Liam sigh. What now?

"I'm sorry Ash…" He mumbled, a hint of sadness in his voice. He looked up at the little broken window at the top of the wall next to Sam. I shivered realizing I was cold as a small breeze blew through the window, blowing back a few strands of my hair out of my face.

There was a horrible silence that made me jingle my chains just to hear something; anything.

"So…" I trialed off and cleared my throat before starting again. "Where the f**k even are we?" Stupid question, Ashley. No one probably knows where we are.

"Welcome to Hell, ladies and gentlemen. I'm Riley, and I will be your captain. Well, if you're on the blue team anyway. Please look at your wrists. If you have a glowing blue number your cuffs will be released. Please move to the west side of the room. The wall will turn blue to indicate where you go."

There was a buzzing noise and what I think was an intercom turned off. The guy, Riley, sounded excited, like a game show host. It reminded me of a show I use to watch with my grandma. I laughed silently to myself, replacing the words from the game show "If  the Price is Right". The words "Come on down to the Price is Right!" to "Come on down to Scary as F**k Hell!"

I blinked a couple of times as the lights turned on. The walls were pure white with rust-red splatters all over the walls.

Everyone was up now, some people laughed as if it were all a crazy bad dream. Some people cried. A few even prayed, surprisingly.

I noticed half of everyone's chains had been unhooked, including mine, electronically I guess. I slowly turned my wrist over and gasped. There was a blue four imprinted on my wrist, it was glowing a dim blue. What the f**k is this?
