A Kiss

A Kiss

A Poem by Riss

Morning mist

Out the door

Sunlight streams ribbons liquid, molten

Cotton wrapped pink satin,

Ocean waves against my legs,

No cloudy skies on an August day

Late summer fires

Running wild round the flames,

Skin teeth white shadows heat love

Check yes, no, all of the above

Firework boom

Fading every other sound,

Climbing falling tumbling to your arms,

Melting like ice in a warm summer storm

Champagne fizzles on my tongue in my head

Silky dress wrapped 'round me under your hands

Whispers in the soft dark, smiles on the sun stricken beach

Peaches and lilies

You're really that sweet

Breaks my heart,

Makes my day, my life,

Morning mist, out the door,

hairspray and mascara mess,

Forgetting, remembering,

Too much to say, No time to talk,

Staying up past midnight

Talking plans, white dress

Bubbles breaking over my lips,

Even when you roll over in our bed, and miss..

You make it alright,

Gosh I really do love,
Your kiss
