Deaths Errie Return

Deaths Errie Return

A Poem by Paige Johnson
"

This, Continues to Walk, and R.I.P. were all written in memory on In Seung Yeo

"

Death surrounds our sorrowed souls

Darkening our lives with more pain

What is the point to living

If death is our only conclusion

Time passes as we attempt to heal

Covering our forever open wounds

Our final escape from deaths eerie return

Is death itself

I like this for it's simplicity laced with heavy reality.
...and it makes me ask myself about the 'point' of it all.
Maybe the point is never knowing... as part of the human condition. Either way..eh... who knows (lol)
Very thought provoking. I liked it. Thanks for sharing!

Your note is just toooooooo funny! Only thing I noted was the spelling of "surround", where you have surrond...other than that all ignored, as that's it.
It has a wonderful, philosophical message with it! It makes me stop and think, as we must live the "in-between" of life. Sometimes we do ask, what's the use?....but, there is always a use! We live, and we die!
And, that's the black and white of it!
Good thought in this.
