Fair Blue Hue

Fair Blue Hue

A Poem by Paige Johnson
"

another blur of words I just wrote down

"

Night was my favorite time,

But without you the stars have lost their shine,

They are mere spots in the dark sky,

Wondering, questioning why,

Why they have reason to be there,

When it is just me here to stare,

The moon is constantly new,

The sky a blank navy blue,

The nights beauty has strayed,

Tired of its pointless masquerade,

The nights fair blue hue,

Seems pointless to me without you

I'm sorry if some of it makes sense. In the seventh line I am refering to a new moon which is when the moon is not there at all. Thank you for reading and I enjoy contructive criticism.

not bad, all the punctuation is just about completely wrong, reads heavily cliche as if you didn't put forth
much effort into originality, if this was my poem, i would use this as the base and rewrite something with
more color, passion..etc, you see what i mean, but honestly, one of the clearer poems i've read tonight.
try putting more time and more play on perfection and you would have something.
the talent is there, keep up the great work.

Hey, I like it!! A good play on words, and it actually has meaning to it! Well done!
Sheila....and that is my constructive criticism..it is good with a good flow of thought.
