What Transition Sees ....

What Transition Sees ....

"
old ways to new ways--legacy to web;
we grow and we age
or we die, oh, so slow.
once immortal, now wounded,
we strive to survive;
some fail while some fall
and some try not at all.
Yet death pales to my memories
of life and its living,
struggles and of giving.
Experience teaches hard lessons
of life as it's dying;
our climbing slows,
some fall while some fail;
as we reached for our stars,
the twinkle now gone,
we look up again to regain our way,
we see our souls--they're just farther away.
