Burried AliveA Poem by Ripple of AquaBetrayal is one of the worst to ever live through.Lost and fragile, I ran from them. Forgotten in this forest, My skin so brittle, Ground of sticks and thorns, The sky nothing but ink Blending the trees into nothingness around me No one will come for me; I know they won’t. A delirium of hope Dwindling in the sounds around me There is nothing left, Just to die here in this place. A place of emptiness and lies, Forever gone in these woods I lay upon this ground, Broken and leaden, Grieving as I slowly let myself die. No one able to save me Since they themselves have buried me alive. © 2012 Ripple of AquaAuthor's Note
