So Forgetful

People forget things,
things they don't want to remember.
They do this
because they don't want to feel
 that sadness,
that humiliation,
or even that fear.
They want to move on
like it's never happened.
That's why breakups are easy to get over;
as soon as you forget,
 it doesn't hurt,
 and it doesn't effect you anymore.
I'm no exception.
 But I do believe,
that not all of us want to forget.
 I really want to be
 considered
one of those people.
