Little White LieA Poem by Ripple of Aqua
Your eyes that left me breathless
The times that you sent me high Are all gone And I sing: la la lie All because Its my little white lie. When you wrapped around me I felt like dancing Dancing with the devil You and I I laugh: la la lie Because you... Were my little white lie. You would turn sour At my display of favor Finding things that were wrong I saw right through This world so gone Yet I skip lighter all the time Thinking: la la lie Just because... You were my little white lie. Sing me to sleep At the days that go by You sing the lullaby One of trust and trial And all I whisper is: la la lie Because this... Is my little white lie. © 2011 Ripple of AquaAuthor's Note
