Little White Lie

Little White Lie

A Poem by Ripple of Aqua

Your eyes that left me breathless
The times that you sent me high
Are all gone
And I sing: la la lie
All because
Its my little white lie.
When you wrapped around me
I felt like dancing
Dancing with the devil
You and I
I laugh: la la lie
Because you...
Were my little white lie.
You would turn sour
At my display of favor
Finding things that were wrong
I saw right through
This world so gone
Yet I skip lighter all the time
Thinking: la la lie
Just because...
You were my little white lie.
Sing me to sleep
At the days that go by
You sing the lullaby
One of trust and trial
And all I whisper is: la la lie
Because this...
Is my little white lie.

Author's Note

Ripple of Aqua
Something random. Beat of the song sounded so much like "you are such a fool, my chess piece" and this is the crappy result.
Tell me what you think please?
