A LossA Poem by Ripple of AquaFor the innocent that lost their lives to selfish thoughtless people...
Bang rings the shots,
A count down to the lives lost Screams that wail in the air, Lights that blare into far away eyes, Blood stains the ground, As passerby's weep. The lonely bodies lay across the Earth, The black of death to drape around their shoulders. When will this end? This torture we grieve through? The sky, once so blue, is now tainted red Imagine where people walk by another Hands linked in spirit and mind. Imagine the peace we should live through. I may be a dreamer still I'll never be the last, I hope that more will gather in this street, Hold candles to the sky, And sing the cry of those who were lost. Imagine if we all could share the world. Join me, as I lower the great flag, Letting those spirits know greater hights. © 2011 Ripple of AquaAuthor's Note
