I left you, but I love you

I left you, but I love you

A Poem by Rion
"

A song :O

"

Piercing the shadows with blinding light,

You entered the room on that lonely night,

You seemed happy, yet so sad,

That the twist of life could be so bad.

I didn’t want to leave you standing there,

With no one there for you to care,

I had no choice, I had to leave,

But you were lonelier than I could believe.

(Could believe)

Chorus

I left you, but I love you,

I’m so confused I don’t know what to do.

I thought I had a choice but I was wrong,

I can’t go back, it has been to long.

I left you, but I love you,

I’m so confused I don’t know what to do,

The choice I made was wrong,

But I can’t go back, It’s been to long…(for me)

(Too long for me)

When you slept, tears were in your eyes,

Your soul reached out, burning like fireflies.

I broke your heart, but now I’m sorry,

I’d thought I lived a different story.

The mistake I made hurt us all,

But the memories of you make me recall,

The times that we were happy, in the past,

But I knew we could never last…(For long * 2)

Chorus

I left you, but I love you,

I’m so confused I don’t know what to do.

I thought I had a choice but I was wrong,

I can’t go back, it has been to long.

I left you, but I love you,

I’m so confused I don’t know what to do,

The choice I made was wrong,

But I can’t go back, It’s been to long…(for me)

Too long for me, but now I shed a tear,

Right before you, standing here,

I don’t know what to do…

I can’t live without you…

Chorus

I left you, but I love you,

That’s why I came back, yes it’s true,

The choice I made was wrong,

But you’ve been suffering for too long.

I came back ‘cause I love you,

Without you I don’t know what to do,

Please forgive me, I was wrong,

But I understand if it’s been too long…(for you)
