The Color of Roses

The Color of Roses

A Poem by Ringwraith
"

I came up with this poem while I was sitting bored in the library.

"

Roses often symbolize love as well as pain, as they can be placed where lives no longer remain. Red roses are a sign of desire, which seems to mount ever higher. Black roses are a sign of the dead and send people into a terrible dread. White roses are a sign of purity and can promote holy unity. No matter if your old or young, their thorns can prick either thumb. Everyone is touched by sorrow and pain, but love can banish that which remain. Love and hat go hand in hand, and can form thine wedding band.
