A Poem by Aethelwyne

Your eyes they fall on me

Like fading memories

Your touch is lifeless

Something I never wanted to believe

Now I finally see what's real

No longer feel what you feel

My heart you pushed away

Does it kill you now that i'm ok?

I deserve this sunshine on my window

No longer trapped and confused

In the end let's face it

We both felt pretty used

I'm letting go of you now

This time I really mean it

I have someone else who needs me

He really cares and I've seen it

About
Where dips the rocky highland Of Sleuth Wood in the lake, There lies a leafy island Where flapping herons wake The drowsy water-rats; There we've hid our faery vats, Full of berries .. more..
