I Don't Give A Damn

I Don't Give A Damn

A Poem by Aethelwyne

    I don't give a damn

About your baggage at my feet

Though you may have said you didn't want

   Anyone else's problems

I will help you carry yours

  I don't give a damn

About our miscommunication

We're always on the same page

Just often different paragraphs...

  I don''t give a damn

About your wall that's so thick

I'm still clawing it down

I don't mind the blood on my hands

If i can't find your heart

At least i'll say i tried

  And I don't give a damn

  Your so worth the risk

  Too scared to get hurt

So you'd rather play dead?

Then I'll be strong for the both of us

And pull you from that grave

      I don't give a f**k

Yeah, you know I want to touch you

Your body tastes like heaven

With a fire straight from hell

  I don't give a f**k

About the attitude you give

You know how to make me cry

So I'll give it right back..

Just as long as we mend it later

     With soft spoken words

        I'll never give a f**k

About what you think can keep us apart

I swear your nothing less of an angel

And what I feel is real

About
Where dips the rocky highland Of Sleuth Wood in the lake, There lies a leafy island Where flapping herons wake The drowsy water-rats; There we've hid our faery vats, Full of berries .. more..
