Complicated Girls

Really more of a blog post....

Complex girls who have lived complex lives with many loved ones and with many loves need to know one very important thing: yes happy endings are real and possible. But even when you find them, your past will never just go away. The key is to finding that one true person that ends all the pain, and that you can finally let all your life's secrets out to. Their love is what will see you through. And their friendship and care will withstand the darkest of your pain. When you find them you will just know. But you will still have your days when you look into the dark sky and see nothing but your scars. You will still sometimes just sit in the bathtub and cry, flooded with your memories. But you will find someone that you can share those memories with. The one that you go through old notebooks with to show them your poetry. To show them who you were when you were innocent, and who you were when you were broken. Sometimes all the loves you've had will seem like a thousand different lives that you once lived. But you will never forget them and what they taught you. You will go through their letters, some as preserved as the day they were written. Some even from you addressed to a soldier unsent and long forgotten what was written. Of course....I've never opened it, after all this time. And keepsakes that you've carried with you through the years.....like a piece of wallpaper in my archives, with a drawing from the first boy I ever loved. I was merely 13 years old but went back inside to retrieve it after my home had burnt down.

Complicated girls will always hold onto these memories. Many of them, secrets they will never tell. But the one person you can tell will understand and be by your side when you go through the pain of your past. And that person will and should be the person that you marry.

It's when you close your book to "THE END"

About
Where dips the rocky highland Of Sleuth Wood in the lake, There lies a leafy island Where flapping herons wake The drowsy water-rats; There we've hid our faery vats, Full of berries .. more..
