Gone a Far

Gone a Far

A Poem by Rina Green

I remember always thinking you would leave you said you would never
Having no doubt of your love
I thought it was forever
But you weren't strong enough you were soft as a dove,
I remember the songs you sang
Always to some silly tune
Your voice in my ears rang
Telling me stories of the sun and the moon,
Everything about you do I miss
All of your hugs do I treasure
You would put me to be with-on the head-a kiss
All of I knew I was to measure,
But now you'be gone a far
Their on my heart lies a scar.
