Part 1, DungeonA Poem by RiliViviAnother oldie This one is about how I feel concerning my emotions, that I'm just locked away with them. Trapped inside myself.Matted hair, Raggedy clothes, Cold winds moan As they snake around the bars of your cage. The key to your cage, It hangs teasingly in front of you. You slowly reach for it, Hope fills your body, And lights up your face. But as you grab hold of it, It dissipates in your grasp. Laughter fills the room, It is your prison. All locked away emotions laugh at you, At your poor attempts to escape; Rage, sadness, fear, and happiness. They laugh but secretly know. They know that you will be the one. The one that frees them all. The key to your cage, Once again hangs in front of you.
