My Irish Ivy

My Irish Ivy

A Poem by Alias Fletcher
"

for my loving wife... who is snoring away on the couch! (pssss...we are not really Irish, maybe some, but here in Savannah, the Irish are strong. The schools even close for St. Patric's Day!)

"

My Irish Ivy

Between the memory and the moment,

Between the taste and the desire,

Is only you, my love...

Everyday in every way

The love of you fills my life... is my life.

Short, sweet, and lovely, yet packs a lot of punch. I think you said what you needed to say and it worked. Very good. I liked it.
