Immersed in your eyes

As we dance around the room can you see in our eyes, 

a forever lasting love that can not be denied,
spiralling turning oblivious to the world,
immersed in each other till the night shall yield, 

forgetting the pain that this world has brought,

the suffering the cruelty the endless wars.

certainly an instance like this can be quite the nice diversion from thinking about how our world is so full of violence and hate...and i also like this idea because i have experienced it...when the two of us catch each other's eyes...and just gaze as if no one else exists in the room, or the world.
What a great feeling that is...even if it is only momentary.
