A Picture is Worth a Thousand PoemsA Poem by RiffRaffyPhotography at its worst.Grey, a neutral tone they say, Colors the palette of photos I capture with a camera.
Automatic twelve times zoom makes Life a little easier, allowing Approaching obstacles some distance Before the inevitability of disaster strikers, Only four inches from my feet.
Car crash and broken bones Splatter rouch asphalt as Screams penetrate neighborhoods, Only mute when compared to that of An infant's wail, His never ending cry for sweet milk, Alerting the media.
As men and women gawk through misty glasses, The victims blood danced across the street, Where the iron sights of plastic Shutter at every red moment.
Finally, the sirens Reach the doorstep, Unforgiving in the fact that it is only a job,
A means of providing food, Shelter, comfort, home, and maybe Love.
Betrayal.
It must be done by someone.
