2 Masquerade Ball

I was at the Thorned Rose Masquerade Ball. My date and best friend was by my side. And, Shane didnt have a rose in his hand. I smiled and waved at all the people staring at me, watching us walk into the ball room from the heavy grand wooden doors. This year's ball was at the Weststone Manor. Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Weststone had the second largest estate complete with miles of forests for their sons, Reuben and Chauncey~ along with their cousin Smoke who lived with them, to host parties.

We were allowed to drink but we didnt like to in front of our elders. For being crazy teenagers we were overly respectful. And Im princess. I have to be. Im not mu enemy, Nahana, who thinks she's all that cause she's got a ferrari and goes to private school.

Me and all my friends get tutored at the Hall, from our parents to teach us ways of the vampires and how to use our powers. Vampires cant get drunk; we just drink for the taste.

"Skylark Sevony, I was told by a little bat that there is a rather large something in the piano room," said Shane. I hooked my arm from his, and looked at my escort. His sharp features matching his cunning personality and wispy light brown hair. A smirk playing on his lips. Our parents were together sitting at the High Table, gossiping and stealing detectable glances in our direction. Shane hooked our arms together again and then we were off walking to the paino room and the big surprise.

Inside, the piano room was dark; being only lighted by a few candles on top of the black grand paino. Wax was dripping on a small stack of music and Sky pushed it aside. Sitting up against the wall was a big lump of something... just like Shane had said.

"Shane, what the hellis it?" Sky turned to her friends and he had a funny look on his face. Shane walked across the room and picked it up. Church pews had been brought in from an old ruin in Ireland. Sky lounged on them in the second row. Shane holding the covered package sat next to her and uncovered it.
