I let go

Kinda better than the last one but not much. I was in a rush on this one too. But its kind of a love poem.

I was living in my own little world,

Just trying to keep things right,

Then the tears started to fall,

I wasnt going to fight.

 

She had allready won,

She had his heart trapped,

He didn't see how much it hurt me,

When he let go.

 

I just wanted him to be happy,

I didn't know it would hurt so bad,

I let him go,

And now I'm miserable and oh so sad.

 

He still walks with me,

He still talks with me,

He still cry's on my shoulder,

But I watch him fly away,

Each and every day.

I walk in your shoes! This is so true to life in so many ways!
The hardest thing is to love someone yet watch them walk in their own direction, even as they still come to you for advice, and that your true feeling must be held back.
