“YOU LITTLE LIAR! YOU WERE THE ONE THAT STOLE THAT DRESS.” Autumn screamed.

“I had my reasons!” Nikki bit her thumb nail. It started to bleed.

“What reasons? That you wanted to go to jail?! You would! You could if anyone else found out! You are 17 for crying out loud! You aren’t 12. GROW UP!”

“THAT’S IT. I’m out of here. Peace” She flashed two fingers and ran out the house with her coat and the car keys to her sister’s car. It’s not the first time this has happened. Nikki always stormed out on her sister. Her mom died when she was 5. After her sister turned 19 their father left and Nikki has been running out after every fight they had. Once she got her license she drove for miles and miles until she ended up at her favourite place; Times Square. She sat on the side of the Toys ‘R Us and cried, and cried until she had no more tears.

“I wish I could just go back to being 4. Mom would be there, Dad would be there, our family was fine. It was perfect. If that stupid drunk driver didn’t kill her than our family wouldn’t be so screwed up and I’d be at home, happy. For the first time in a long while I think I’d be able to smile without having to worry about having that dream broken and- OW!” She smacked out of that dream when someone banged into her foot. “Like that’s going to ever happen.” Nikki got up bit her finger nail and ran to her car and drove home.

“Where have you been?! I’ve been worried sick about you.” Autumn, Nikki’s sister said.

Nikki dropped the keys on the table and stormed upstairs. “Doubt it. You never even cared about anyone. You little bi-”

“Don’t go there.” Autumn interupted
