The Regretful Smash

The Regretful Smash

A Poem by Riddling Door

The Regretful Smash

Beneath the beckoning embrace

Swallowed by the golden arches

Wielding power to choose his present fate

Drool runs down his eager face

Ordering his heart’s desire in starches

Beneath the beckoning embrace

Steaming and salty, heavenly to taste

He boldly supersized, all extra larges

Wielding the power to choose his present fate

Guilt sets in, staring at his empty tray

Already his bowels rumble, in private he’d have farted

Beneath the beckoning embrace

Why does he do this? Gut stretching past his normal waste

He’s about to make a resolution, in fact he’s already started

Wielding the power to choose his present fate

They got him again, those goddamned evil arches

Hustling away in shame, oh no, he just sharted

Beneath the beckoning embrace

Wielding the power to choose his present fate
