Do you know what would it be like to be completely normal one day, only to a complete freak the next? Eris Dale knows. When she was seven something happened that caused her to develop strange abilities and be shunned by everyone. Her only friends are Chase and Zac, who she lived with when her mother was admitted into the hospital.

Now seventeen years old, the young woman still refuses to side with either good or evil because she sees it as "not my problem". But when Chase is leaving for college and Zac is moving on out of Austin, Eris is offered a new, distasteful choice: Join Camp Hero and train her powers.
