It's In You

It's In You

A Poem by Ricohard

How come love doesnt say everything I feel for her?

She is a princess in everyones eyes, except her own.
She receives calls and calls, and is the middle of a spider web trying to hold everybody together.
And at the same time is being ripped apart.

She talks about swollen memories.
And I think she wonders if they will overflow and lap like waves into her future.

She has heard the words come out of my mouth.
And she has said it herself, has whispered it in my ear.
Those three words, and the feeling chase away everything that is evil, and lifts my insides up like a white sheet.
I wish she could hear me when I say it to her.

I hope I am the perfect candidate for her life
And we become a chain, linked together near all these machines and pullies; pressing hard and ripping, but we stick together.

I hope those words she whispers are the truth
She is a friend, and lover and all that, but she is more to my heart.
She is a substance, an element that I rely on to live, to breathe, to feel life flow through me.
She is like God or like Water.
She is the reason I want to live, and everything I need.

I hope that I am perfect for her, and that in time we could connect so great that we are two souls breathing the same air.

wow very good I feel that you are searching for a word more
intense, that shows your feelings to the fullest for her and as
writers we understand words enough to know that something can be
explained a thousand ways, but it seems that you stumble when your
thoughts, pen, even your lips start to describe her. I liked this piece alot.

The message of your care and love for her resounds through your words, mate. Very deep and thoughtful.

Wow! You don't hold back at all here. I think it's lovely. Isn't the expression of love how poetry started? Very beautiful!
