Medicine MenA Poem by RicohardWhy you medicine men? You have abandoned the caves for suits, ties, and wire brims with glass fits. You have left behind the ways and meanings of old for paper and certificate with blank pages, while the people of today are sitting on cement infested hills with salt discharges from their camera like lenses trying to work out the way. You hold the answers. You were the bridge. But you took that key of Pandora and buried it. And you sunk your teeth into the flesh of the apple from the tree. And what happened? © 2008 Ricohard |
