IsolationA Poem by Ricohard
A connection severed, lost
Separation from the past? Or Separation from the future? Either is torment There is no time Just an eternity Of the very ever present Lost in a void It is the sigh of segregation And it is the dint of deep depression It is: the trouble, the pain, the hurt, the loss, the turmoil. Swallowed by a dark blind orb It captures you, and forces you to swallow You are a slave to it. And yet by all your masters you are but alone In the hungry sea, on the peaks of soaring mountains, exiled on a remote island, or but just locked inside the room of your mind. And the facts remain You are but alone Alone for that evil power within to gather and strengthen and to choke and smother and kill that tiny light left. To distort what you love and make the very thought of it into a living torment playing before you forever and ever But youre mind doesnt comprehend, it does not understand. But you are deceived, and you say in confidence I am not alone © 2008 RicohardReviews
