Frozen

Frozen

A Poem by Ricohard

Death is cold
Much like the winter
Just a touch
A shiver runs straight
Penetrating the body
Shutting down its systems

Life blood lost
Heart frozen in hatred
A burning anger
It chills, freezing me
Senses are singed
His anger, is frozen

I was just about getting ready to take a rope and hang myself before something compelled me to stop by and read this work of yours. 'Frozen', such an apt title; too bad it's no way related to that song by Madonna on her RAY OF LIGHT album, but this will just have to do.

Your personified imagery of Death is quite haunting to picture ... the souless and yet unceremonious glamour with which it infects the body. But the second stanza it seems takes a much different approach. It seems in this case, Death is now officially human.

All right, I'm through. Now back to hanging myself (just where did I leave that bloody rope!)
