Tearing Streams

Tearing Streams

A Poem by Ricohard

I anger at every drop
It lands upon my furnace face
To torment me, it always has
It doesnt even fall with Grace
In anger: pelting and damaging
Tearing like a plough, moving objects left to right

This has been our past
We build, it slides, we build, it slides
The elders call for a positive attitude
To build again, start life again
But no family, the slide, no friends, the slide
And now no work, the slide!

My tears flood down my face
As the floodgates are smashed, down my village goes
Down the slide
I have no faith in rebuilding
Escape Escape the cry is sounded
The slide has taken everything, and now it can take me

Brown skin mesh to Brown mud
Streaming tears mesh with the
Streams that create tears
My cry is muffled
By planks of hatred, mirrors of the past
Crops of hard toil, cluginess of depression
And streams of tears

the anger and frustration. You say it well. Get it out, get it down on paper. You paint a very vivid picture. I have faith.

Pain and anger, you certainly do carry a lot of deep-seated burden in your work, either towards yourself and as well towards others. Your anger lies in what has occured in the past, and probably the fact that there's little chance for atonement.
