Poem #26 At my current age I find that it is Indeed a crime That my paradigm Has not shifted Over the years It has only uplifted My own kind And has been More exclusive than Inclusive Which to my dismay Is sad to say and Even harder to admit So today I vow that Somehow I will Change it Because the mere Suggestion That oppression Affects only my kind Is a crime That I have turned A blind eye too As the same passion That's been poured out Of me into my poetry Will also embrace The issues in the LBGTQ Community As I find that on June 28 1969 The Stonewall Riots in NYC Was a significant Event in the history Of the the gay Community The raid that was Made targeted Gays at a Local dive bar Located inside The Stonewall Inn Is where the quest For acceptance begins As Marsha P fought Back against the attack Starting the gay Rights movement Worldwide Further Advancing gay pride 0200270002021 Nefarious J.
