Poem # 24 So America what exactly Is the reaction you are after When you tell me To Go Back To Africa I am trying to understand When it was colonial migration Into African Nation's That brought my ancestors From the Motherland Into another land Sold on auction blocks Picking cotton and Other crops Fighting in wars For a country That chooses Slavery over Equality Inhumanity over decency As our own complacency Gives you consent Which is meant That we deserve the Treatment we are getting Are you forgetting That we built this country Without us there would Be no democracy Therefore you can't Afford to ignore Our demands for equality As our pain forces us to Entertain violence Because yet again You take our silence As consent Which is meant That the current paradigm Needs to shift Because we can longer Afford this any more We have to be stronger Than tired clichés So when you say Go back to Africa What exactly does That mean? When we have the dominant Genes, colors and traits So biologically Shouldn't we be the Ones to hate Because you can't Procreate Because you are Recessive Is this the basis For hating my race As your behavior is Excessive because We made you and You are mad Because there is nothing You can do Except spew Hatred and bigotry Because part of me And my ancestors Are part of you And there is nothing For you to do Except to accept it Because rejecting it Will not change what Is true Because Biologically We made all of you! 020027002021 Nefarious J.
