Pistol Packing Pete
Was a tough S.O.B.
To beat
His problem solvers
Were his 2
Smith and Wesson
Revolvers
See,
In the streets of life
Pete
Was difficult to beat
And defeat
Because he was
Always
Morally right
It was nearly
Impossible to
Take his life
Especially
In Russian Roulette
Where he met and
Defeated many
So he had plenty
Of enemies
As many of them
Fell to their deaths
As slugs to their
Chest
Put them all to rest
So one day
Something strange
Happened that changed
Pistol Packing Pete's life
Forever and not
Necessarily for the better
See,
For the first time
He experienced
Defeat
But to his dismay
This hombre that
He faced
Was definitely
Up for the task
See,
He was a tad quicker
On the trigger
Killing Pistol Packing Pete
Instantaneously
On the streets of life
All because he needed
To be morally right
This is how and why
He lossed the fight
All because Pete
Asked him to wear
A mask
What's the moral
Off this story
You may ask?
Is this
Anything or anyone
Can send you to glory
Because inflicting
Your beliefs on others
Can cause your grief
And will get you killed
Just like Pistol Packing Pete
So be careful what
You to say to
Someone you meet in
The street
As you too could
Experience defeat
As that could
Be the very last day that
What you do and
Did say and
What you believe in
Could get you
Blown away
In the end
