Mr. Officer

Mr. Officer

A Poem by Jerome F Knox III pseudonym Nefarious J. Dorsey
"

a view of police brutality from my eyes

"

Mr. Officer I mean you no

Disrespect

So

Why do you have you

Foot on my neck?

Aren't you suppose to serve

And protect, yet

Many in my community

That look like me

Are subject to police brutality

You sound the alarm

When most of the time

We are unarmed

In fact it is crime just

To be black

Cause

At anytime you could

Be shot in the back

How should we react

To legal executions?

Do you really want to

Know my solution?

REVOLUTION....

Tail light broken

Gives them probable cause

Probably you will

End up behind bars

If you lucky

But how you react

Will determine if you get

Shot in the back

Eight times

I find that in itself is

A crime

If you

Ask me it is murder

In the first degree

Malice, intent and forethought

The officer did what was in

His heart

Deliberation and premeditation

Sheds light on the situation

Systematic eradication

As the courts continue

To support these sanctioned

Executions as the only viable

Solution is REVOLUTION

Fed up because the Feds

Overlook how many

Black men are dead

As the blood shed

Is caused by trigger happy

Cops

When will the legal executions

Stop?

Never cause things have

Not gotten any better

Since Obama was put

In the White House

Many want him out

But until then

Frustrations are taking

Out in other black men

When will it end?.

The only viable solution

Is REVOLUTION
