Sticky Note 21A Poem by Jerome F Knox III pseudonym Nefarious J. DorseyLast note from my hospital bedLeprechauns are gone Making guest appearances All around the world For St. Patty's Day In bars and parades Turning rivers green Allows me the freedom To dream Dr. Blue is on call But that number will Never be called by me Intentionally Bandages needed to cover The wounds in my soul Now I have a chance to be Whole It is now up to me As I have earned the Right to be free Beaten not broken Hoping that I am awake As a break from this Drug induced state As this is the last sticky Note I hope As I cope Emerging from The worm hole Unscathed? As I bailey remember Crossing the Einstein-Rosen bridge Nevertheless I will try my best To lay my fears to rest As clarity now becomes A reality As I walk alone To my own home No more oxycodone I need to dwell in my Own space For now withdrawing From the human race
