She Bleeds in Color

She Bleeds in Color

A Poem by Jerome F Knox III pseudonym Nefarious J. Dorsey

He is dead
Because she saw
RED

But before that
she saw
BLACK

Cause the
WHITE came
through the
BLUE

But somehow
in the day
The clouds
made everything
GRAY

of course she
feels remorse?
as her
GREEN eyes
Go back to
RED
Cause the color
she HOPED for
That existed
in her head
Is now
BLACK
and dead
on the
CRIMSON floor
Her favorite
color no more

Very colorful piece.

This seems as if a tragedy could have been avoided but a wanting caused something more to occur.

Nice piece of work, colorful and not just the screen, thanks for sharing and b-blessed!

love the way this looks on the screen, but the author's note didn't come through. So it sounds like the woman here is angry, seeing red first, then bleeding. Interesting. What were you thinking about when you wrote this?
