A Sniper's Plight

A Sniper's Plight

A Poem by Jerome F Knox III pseudonym Nefarious J. Dorsey

He was honorably
Discharged and
Medalled rich
He was lonely
And hungry
So he ate a bullet
Ain't life a b***h

She was nostalgic often
Under the guidance
Of schizophrenia
She loved that swing
So much until
She became
One
Underneath the
Chandelier and
Beneath
Her broken chair

He came back
home
Alone and confused
With Agent Orange
Issues
But there were
Strangers standing
There
He was filled
With so much
despair
And gloom that
He cleared the
Room with
Several booms
And what
The coroner
Got was several
Gun shots that
Took the whole
Family back there
